Dr Gero Baiarda MBBS MSc DPD MA MRCGP
Private General Practitioner & Primary Care Dermatologist
Dr Baiarda was born in South East London and is proud of his Sicilian heritage.
A General Practitioner for nearly 24 years, he studied medicine in Newcastle Upon Tyne and qualified in 1995. Gero embarked on a Paediatric rotation in the North East before embarking on General Practice training in Stratford upon Avon in 1999.
He became an NHS GP Partner immediately on finishing training in 2000.
He studied for the Post Graduate Diploma of Practical Dermatology in 2008, and has worked as a Primary Care Dermatologist in the NHS since 2011. He still works as a full-time Senior GP in Windsor, and conducts his private work outside his NHS hours.
Since 2006, he has been the Lead Medical Practitioner at Royal Holloway, University of London.
In October 2018, he joined the executive team of GPDQ, a U.K.-wide Primary Care organisation with partnerships with multiple household name brands and Health Providers. He is Clinical Director.
He holds double Masters' Degrees in Paediatrics and English Literature, and regularly publishes articles in UK magazines and the press. He has appeared many times on National TV and radio.
Gero lives in Henley-on-Thames with his wife, Amanda, and their four children. He is a talented artist and works to a high standard in pencil, watercolour and oils.

Amanda studied Media (Journalism & Photography) at the London College of Printing, next door to the Central School of Ballet. As a young photojournalism student, she fell in love with ballet and dance photography. She has been a student of ballet for 22 years.
Amanda is a fully qualified Nurse with further training in counselling, nutrition, health, fitness (using ballet technique) and lifestyle management. She has worked 1:1 with retired and injured ballet dancers, and other performing artists at Pinewood Studios. She completed her BSc (Hons) in 2019, and her law Degree at the University of Reading in 2020.
She is currently undertaking the vocational stage of training for Barristers combined with a Master’s degree in Law (LLM) at the City Law School, University of London with a view to being called to the Bar to practise Family Law.
